Retail bond activity starting in the U.K.

Hi everyone I hope you are all well.

Activity in the U.K. is starting to rise at long last.It looks as though  interest rates will stay low for a lot longer and Europe will stay the same.Is that good or bad ,time will tell.

Retail bond activity has been slow since the start of the year but now a company in distressed property for development is looking to issue a retail bond.

As we all know as the economy gets better banks start to put the pressure  on some companies in order to return their loans.

This leaves them little opportunity but to sell assets at there best price at the time.

This creates opportunities for those with the money to buy and develop them.

Happy and successful investment to you all.

Retail bonds move forward in 2014.

Hello everyone,
I hope you are all keeping well.

RetailBonds.co.uk

The start to 2014 of issues for retail bonds have started slow.As we move into the new financial year we expect activity to pick up.

As the continual restriction of lending by the major banks ,withdrawing from the market companies are now looking for other ways of raising finance and retail bonds are one way.

It is going to be as it always has been a gentle testing of the waters with some companies but once they have tasted ,liked and been happy with the new way of raising finance it will stay with them.

The market is changing towards new ways of raising finance ,and it will take a large part of the market.

It should in theory make the market more stable being spread amongst a  larger supply side.

Along with retail bonds are the other forms of financing for smaller amounts ,peer 2 peer and crowdfunding amongst them. www.nonbanklending.co.uk/

As the worlds' economies settle down and companies start to invest we will see more fund raising appear, and not from the major banks as they struggle to sort themselves out.

Happy and successful investing to you all and keep well.

Retail Bonds attracting interest from Finance Directors.

Hi everyone I hope you are all well still.

Behind the scenes in any new developing project things take place and grow without being seen.

As with retail bonds things are taking place behind the scenes and that is Finance Directors now seriously taking them as an option for raising finance.

As with all new thinks in a developing market there are those who jump straight in and those that test the water.

Now the time is arriving for those that have watched the market grow the last 2 years to really start to take action.

A lot of finance directors are now talking to each other about retail bonds and their position within debt finance.

This can only be good for the market in retail bonds and for companies in general as it allows them to have some control over their debt .

For the latest retail bond  issues in the market go to   www.retailbonds.co.uk

Happy and successful investing to you all ,

U.K. wealth banking raising investment level.

Hello everyone, I hope you are all keeping very well.

It is reported that wealth banking is raising the minimum level they want to deal with.Even then it will be advice from a central point not individual banker advice.

The minimum amount to invest in their wealth division is £250,000.Which leaves many above £100,000 looking for advice or as some will teach themselves how to invest.

This will leave some in the wilderness not knowing what to do.

As in all things this will leave some open to vultures but it is up to the financial world to balance this out.

Now is the time for non bank lending (p2p and crowdfunding ) to attract investors but above all these platforms and their due diligence in operating must be clear, concise and trustworthy.Raising finance through retail bonds will now come into its' own.

The amount of capital looking for investment in the wilderness will be substantial as major banks start to get to the end of the contracts with their clients.

To some investors this will be all new to them.It is up to the financial industry to fill this gap.I am sure there will be many scams along the way.It is up to all of us to report these scams to the relevant authorities in the relevant countries.

The reporting might be tiny in your consideration but this is how the authorities link the scams and pick up the perpetrators .This is something we must all be aware of to keep the financial industry as clean as we can.

Happy and successful investing to you all and as always when seeking financial advice only ask it from those advisers registered with the authorities in the relevant countries  they operate.

Retail Bonds and Finance Directors.

Hello everyone I hope you are still keeping well.

2 years ago as retail bonds began to grow in the U.K. I spoke to some accountants and finance directors about retail bonds. What surprised me is that none of them knew what retail bonds were and many were not interested.

What a difference 2 years make. The basic interest is there with the finance directors but I doubt that many have studied what retail bonds are about and even considered including them in their debt structure.

This is something they need to learn fast as banks withdraw funding from companies and change what types of business they are in.

The finance directors that are ahead of the curve will benefit their companies .I am not saying they should just go out and issue retail bonds.

what I am saying is that they should set up the structure to be able to make the final step to issue retail bonds if and as they need to.

Accountants on the other hand are often asked for advice on raising finance. They also should make themselves familiar with retail bonds so they can advise their clients correctly.

happy and successful investing to you all .

First retail bond issue of 2014 in U.K.

Welcome everyone I hope you are all o.k. still and keeping well.

Things have been quiet in the retail bond market for a while but the first issue of 2014 has taken place.

It is a company that is a consumer finance specialist and they are looking to raise between £50 and £100 million. They have raised a similar amount last year and this retail bond has a coupon of 6.125, slightly higher than the previous.

For more information go to www.RetailBonds.co.uk/     and go to page new bond issues.

The U.K. has been a little dormant in retail bond issues for the last of 2013 but with banks tightening lending and finance directors getting used to retail bonds watch out for more companies starting to test the water.

Happy and successful investing to you all.

Christopher.
